The engagement ring features an EGL USA Certified 0.82ct 101% Eye Clean SI1 Clarity Colorless F rated Round Brilliant diamond. The stone has a Very Good Polish and outstanding brilliance and light return. No haze, no fog, no oily appearance. It exhibits Hearts and Arrows as indicated in the EGL USA Lab Report shown below.
Tacori’s description is as follows: ‘Reflect her sophistication and effortless grace with subtle signature Tacori milligrain accents along criss-crossing diamond ceilings and crescent silhouette details for the ultimate in elegance”. The Mount alone retails for $4000, without a center stone. To the $4000 then add the value of the 0.82 carat SI1 F EGL USA Center Diamond which appraised at $9060 by itself (see the scan of the report provided below) and you are at $13,000 offering.
We also had a separate independent appraisal done by a distinguished former lead appraiser with Birks and he very conservatively valued the ring at $11,000 and noted the center diamond is stronger than SI1, at VS2.
